Santander has announced it will be hiring 600 people over the coming months, as part of a recruitment drive which some sources say could see the bank ultimately hiring up to 6,000 over the next year or two. The bank is looking to improve its services performance, and is instigating additional hiring on top of the 5,000 frontline employees it has inherited with the acquisition of Royal Bank of Scotland's Williams & Glyn branches.
