What a good idea - open over xmas !

Metro Bank has announced plans to open eight new branches and employ 200 extra staff in 2011, following an increase in its customer base over the Christmas period. The bank claimed to have opened around 500 new accounts during Christmas and New Year, a time when large banks such as Barclays, HSBC and RBS traditionally remain closed.
