Why your motor policies are so expensive....

Blackburn MP, Jack Straw, has led an investigation into motor insurance companies, finding many to be selling on the personal details for their customers to claims-management companies and lawyers. Despite potentially driving up their costs as a result, insurers were found to be fuelling claims in order to gain referral fees which could provide them with between £200 and £1,000 worth of revenue per name.
